Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for total guest satisfaction from pre-arrival contact, logistics in the bookings and reconfirmation of guests' reservations, fully acquainted with local points of interests. This position will communicate with guests and employees both verbally and in writing to answer questions, and provide clear direction in advising and instructing guests in resort details with a focus on luxury service.

Job Responsibilities:
Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, despite how busy or the time of day.
Respond to inquiries with accurate information regarding hours of outlet operation, directions to local attractions and restaurants, meeting rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service, etc. according to individual needs.
Handle confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity.
Implementing the flow of information to guests about hotel services, features and room amenities, alongside answering questions, giving directions and making detailed reservations or recommendations.
Assist in maintaining database and binder of vendor information as well as current area information, weather and grooming reports, restaurant specials and event.
Keep lobby area neat and replenish stock of printed materials including magazines, brochures and trail maps.
Develop strong working relationships with other department managers and directors to ensure communication and teamwork is at an optimum.
Performs any additional tasks or projects as required.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. - required
Must be able to read, write, speak, understand and comprehend English fluently. - required
At least 1 year of guest service experience. - required
Concierge experience. - preferred
Knowledge of the Vail Valley area and Vail Mountain. - required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer. - required
Ability to read and respond to complex correspondence. - required
Ability to effectively present detailed information to guests and employees. - required
Must be able to work weekends, evening and holidays. - required
Flexible schedule required (Willing to work split shifts and willing to pick up extra shifts as needed). - required
Able to speak and understand Spanish helpful. - preferred
Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours at a time. - required

The expected pay range is $20.00 - $22.04. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
