Senior Financial AnalystJob LocationsUS-OH-WPAFBID2024-7630CategoryAccounting/FinanceTypeRegular Full-TimeOverviewCredence Management Solutions, LLC, is seeking Financial Analyst/ Resource Advisor who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Institute of Technology School of Strategic Force Studies (AFIT/EX) at WPAFB, OH.AFIT/EX develops airmen, joint service members, and our international partners prevail in current and future conflicts by providing relevant and responsive nuclear, space, and cyberspace Professional Continuing Education (PCE).Cyber PCE: The mission of the School of Cyberspace Professional Continuing Education is to inculcate the Air Force's cyberspace force and joint force members with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevail in current and future conflicts. Graduates will be able to apply offensive, defensive, and information network operations to support all aspects of the national defense strategy.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and manage the School of Strategic Force Studies (School of Strategic Force Studies (SoSFS)) and Nuclear Distance Learning budget in concert with leadership and Distance Learning (DL) education technicians.Provide budget and financial management support to the assigned resource advisor and manage, monitor and execute assigned financial plans for the Nuclear DL Program.Ensure proper expenditures and documentation are in accordance with approved Air Force policies, to include unfunded requirements, spend plans, reallocations and budget justifications.Ability to interpret/analyze DoD and USAF Financial Management policies, regulations, and guidance.Work with individual sponsors to ensure spend plans are up to date and accurate.Work with AFIT/EX Resource Advisor to ensure proper resources to support educational missions.Work with AFIT/EX Program Manager and Educational Technicians to ensure proper tracking of Nuclear Distance Learning students and forecasted Tuition costs.Work with AFIT/FM to ensure proper loading and expenditure of funds for educational/mission efforts.Ensure accountability of SoSFS resources.Provide bi-weekly financial update and trends to SoSFS leadership and Sponsors.Support End-of-FY execution.Work with the resource advisor, DL education technicians, AETC/A3N, and AFIT leadership to plan, prepare, and analyze out year FY budgets.QualificationsBS/BA degree in business, finance, accounting, or related discipline.Experience with Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS); DTS; DoD POM planning and purchasing processes; intermediate skill level with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR).At least five years work experience within the DoD financial community.Hands on experience working the Commander's Resource Integration System, Automated Business Services System, FMSuite, Integrated Accounts Payable System, Defense Transaction Interface Module System and Oracle databases.Experience working with Miscellaneous Obligation Record Documents, and preparing AF Form 1269's.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Sharepoint, ADOBEExperience working in a university sponsored program office is desiredNeed help finding the right job?We can recommend jobs specifically for you!Click here to get started.Credence Management Solutions, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
