About Senior Database Administrator

  Calling all Database Specialists! Are you ready to take your career to new heights in the bustling banking sector in Zurich? We are seeking a talented individual like you to join our team as a Database Administrator with a focus on cloud migration.

  As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining Microsoft RDBMS, SQL, and T-SQL database systems. Your expertise will be put to the test as you tackle cloud migration tasks, working with various cutting-edge platforms.

  WHAT YOU’LL DO

  Manage and maintain Microsoft RDBMS, SQL, and T-SQL database systems

  Perform cloud migration tasks, working with various cloud platforms

  Implement and utilize Change Data Capture (CDC) techniques

  Collaborate with other teams to understand database requirements and ensure efficient data management

  Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and performance bottlenecks

  Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in database engineering

  Support database backups, recovery, and security measures

  REQUIREMENTS

  Strong expertise in Microsoft RDBMS, SQL, and T-SQL

  Experience with cloud migration projects, preferably on platforms like Microsoft Azure

  Knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC) techniques

  Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS and PostgreSQL databases is a plus

  Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC) for MSSQL is a plus

  Proficiency in English
