The Senior Analyst – Inbound Logistics, will work both independently and collaboratively with functions across material planning; plant, transportation and warehousing operations; supply chain finance and technical experts to identify process improvement initiatives that impact cost and service. You will report to the Manager, Inbound Strategy & Optimization in delivering objectives associated with the Inbound Logistics function. With a background in operations and working knowledge of systems such as Oracle Transportation Management, SAP and Blue Yonder - you'll use experience to enable the Inbound Logistics strategy.
Responsibilities:
Data extraction; study and interpret data, and developing understanding of problems and opportunities; ability to develop and communicate the story to multiple levels of leadership
Monitor transportation and warehousing reporting and metrics; build recommendations that inspire action / resolution. Present findings that create understanding,, and informed decision-making
Guide work cross-functionally
Define business processes and implement recommended improvements
Engineer tactical and strategic solutions that withstand the variability inherent to the business
Complete projects on time, within budget, and defect-free while holding team members Accountable for accurate execution of assigned tasks
Summarizes and communicates recommendations to leadership
Informally leads team, giving guidance, training support and peer coaching
Resolve conflict and act as escalation contact for internal and external partners.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business related field
5 + years related business experience required
Experience leading projects
Prioritize multiple activities simultaneously
Lead change in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment
Experience with Oracle Transportation Management, SAP and Blue Yonder
Analytical experience
Domestic and International travel may be required, less than 25%
In the office Tuesday – Thursday
