A Day in the Life:
The primary objective of the Vehicle Control Supervisor is to supervise the Vehicle Control Clerks and Vehicle Control Representatives, ensuring department compliance for all policies and procedures.
What You’ll Do:
Ensure all policies and procedures are in compliance with corporate procedures 1-12, 7-2, 7-3, 9-18, and 7-42.
Supervisor and monitor Vehicle Control Representatives (VCR) and Vehicle Control Clerks (VCC) and assist with any problems or issues.
Ensure all performance standards are updated as needed.
Communicate effectively with field personnel regarding problems and issues affecting the department.
Review and approve all Back Office DNR addition requests as well as review and approve any requests for removal from DNR.
Review and approve theft reports.
Prepare and submit Service Requests as needed for enhancements/modifications required for GVCS in Control Area Supervisor’s absence.
Create and monitor the Predictive Dialer, including creating campaigns, running campaigns, monitoring production, creating VCR schedules and reports
Supervise and monitor both HLES and DASH VCR’s, in their daily functions. Ensure all policies/procedures are followed, create and provide production stats, assist with problems, conduct annual evaluations along with monthly face to face meetings.
Supervise and monitor VCCs in their daily functions. Ensure all policies/procedures are followed, create and provide production stats, assist with problems, conduct annual and bi-annual evaluations.
Process statistics/production standard reports weekly for all VCR’s and VCC’s.
Prepare and submit Monthly VCC production stats, Monthly Predictive Dialer Reports, Weekly HLES Overdue report, and weekly VCR stats (to VCRs), Daily Denied Overdue Report, Daily Dialer Report, and any other reports management assigns.
Oversee repo assignments and recoveries.
Maintain job manuals and work with other management to maintain BRP
Interviewing and hiring process.
GVCS testing and maintenance.
Work with the Legal Dept in Estero on subpoenas, DEA, Homeland Security on researching renter information on older rentals.
Process all Manual letters and also print all automated letters if Admin clerk/Supervisor is unavailable.
Process and approve timecards in ADP
Handle supervisor calls from renters and DNR customers.
Provide all back up necessary in Control Area Supervisor’s absence.
Mentor, performance management, training and coaching of direct reports.
Review TLO monthly bill and submit for payment once approved.
Other duties as assigned by Manager and/or Sr. Director. their daily functions. Ensure all policies/procedures are followed, create and provide production stats, assist with problems, conduct annual evaluations along with monthly face to face meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
High School Diploma or Equivalent, Associates or higher education preferred
Experience in customer service, vehicle recovery, or a call center environment
Previous Car Rental experience, preferred
Moderate efficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent Communication skills
Solid Analytical & Problem-solving skills
Strong sense for Customer needs and customer service
Ability to prioritize conflicting task for teams and self
Ability to concurrently manage ongoing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers
Ability to identify system, process and training opportunities, and respective implementation
Adaptability to continuous change and ability to lead team effectively through change process

We expect the starting salary to be $55k; the actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience.
