The Security Operations Intelligence Analyst (SOIA) is responsible for supporting the Director of Corporate Resilience and Threat Intelligence. The SOIA will leverage various business intelligence sources, internal and external assets, and open-source media to identify and help mitigate threats and loss to QTS Data Centers, employees, and customers. The SOIA will detect, analyze, and advise on adverse conditions affecting physical and information security which may impact employee safety, security, and operational continuity. This role will require a strong cross-functional partnership across QTS business units and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned
Monitors local, regional, national, and global events through designated tools, open source information, media, and QTS-supplied intelligence that could impact QTS Data Centers global operations.
Supports company Insider Threat program and assists with current trends, program implementation, and best practices.
Analyzes and assesses events to determine potential impact to QTS personnel, customers, and facilities.
Provides routine communications (verbally and in writing) on issues that affect QTS global operations such as tailored physical / information security threat reports, global incident alerts, natural disasters, and other topical threats.
Monitors corporate security operations data for abnormalities (door alarms, badge activity, etc.) and provides reports as needed.
Monitors corporate information security data for abnormalities and provides reports as needed.
Supports company crisis management and business continuity initiatives, projects, and presentations.
Strengthens relationships and processes between QTS Converged Security and the QTS Operations Support Center.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Four or more years’ experience in corporate security and/or government intelligence analysis.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to produce customer-facing intelligence reports.
Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Office 365).
Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels of the organization and to operate in a professional, confidential work environment.
Equally comfortable working independently or collaboratively on a project, often under compressed timelines.
Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
Accreditation as a Certified Intelligence Analyst, Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst, or similar professional / government certification.
