We have an opening in Indian Head, MD for a dynamic, Mid Software Developer with Java rich client and web application development experience, and strong core Java knowledge. The selected candidate will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and/or modifying enterprise-wide systems and/or application software.
Responsibilities:
Experience with software configuration management processes
Experience with software configuration management tools and processes, ensuring code integrity and consistency across development cycles.
Work primarily in Java/Hibernate/Spring, and JavaScript
Solid understanding of Object Oriented Principals and concepts, and design patterns and their applications
Knowledge of PC-based software tools for integration, build, and release of software
Working knowledge of both rich client and web application development using current MVC frameworks
Knowledge of database technologies, particularly MySQL/T-SQL and SQL-Server, including the use of tools like TOAD for database management.
Experience using Java development tools (ex. Maven, Eclipse, etc.)
Experience working in an enterprise environment
Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, essential for effective collaboration within a team environment.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor Degree from an accredited University in an IT related field and three-five (3-5) years of experience in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required.
A Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570.01 IAT-II compliant certification is required.
