Works cross functionally across the organization, and with the Plant Manager to develop Action Plan to improve productivity and efficiency within the Molding department. Responsible for Molding department activities and standards on all 3 shifts. Tracks and reports the results of the Action Plan monthly. Leads safety policy deployment in the Molding department according to company policy and standards. Provides production with quality, time and cost effectiveness. Implements 5S program within the Molding department. Manages labor aspect such as work station assignment, training and workload within the Molding department with the help of HR. Manages the overall quality of the manufactured product within the Molding department with the support of the Quality department. Manages machine preventive maintenance aspect within the Molding department with the support of the Maintenance department. Ensures that daily schedule is met and addresses issues with Material department as needed. Position directly supervises the work of one 2nd Shift Molding Supervisor, 3rd Shift Molding Supervisor, and two 1st Shift Team Leader.
