As a leader in the seafood industry, we know that the key to our success is based on the commitment to excellence displayed by each of our team members.Summary:Maintain a high level of Food Safety and Product Quality through the cleaning and sanitation of food processing equipment, utensils, and facility.Key Responsibilities:Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.Maintain cleaning and sanitation in accordance with the company Master Sanitation ProgramUtilize chemicals and cleaning agents to clean and sanitize processing area walls, floor, and equipmentUtilize refuse and sanitation tools in a proper and safe mannerRemoval of debris from processing areaCommunicate chemicals supply levels to managementObserve and record facility conditions to ensure all areas are within company and regulatory specificationsVerify the adequacy of cleaning and sanitation performed on areas and equipment and complete and sign off on appropriate formsDocument actions taken in response to unsatisfactory observations on Equipment, Utensils, and/or Process Area conditionsComplete testing when applicableMaintain plant safetyMaintain and proper use of equipmentWork independently with minimal supervisionProvide back up support for other duties as neededBecome certified as an electric pallet jack and forklift operatorPerform other duties as assignedWhat You Bring to Pacific Seafood:PreferredExperience with the utilization of sanitation tools and chemicals, food safety, and the safe operation of fork lifts and powered pallet jacksPay:$18.50Total Compensation:At Pacific Seafood, your base wage is only a portion of your overall compensation package.
