　　Salmon Valley Golf Course Superintendent

　　The Salmon City Golf Association is looking for a full time golf courseSuperintendent for 9 hole municipal golf course. This position islocated in Salmon, Idaho: a premier destination for hiking, biking,fishing, hunting, whitewater rafting, golfing and many other outdooractivities. This can be a 10-month or year-round position depending onthe candidates preference.

　　Position: Golf Course Superintendent

　　Responsibilities: Responsible for all golf course maintenance and repairincluding, but not limited to: All golf course grounds and turf, allequipment maintenance and repair, rental cart fleet maintenance andrepair, some light clubhouse maintenance, irrigation and pump stationmaintenance and repair, and any other jobs or duties as assigned.

　　Qualifications: Basic golf course knowledge and experience. The abilityto play golf is a plus. High Scholl diploma or GED, some collegepreferred, current Idaho drivers license, Mechanical aptitude and/orexperience. Irrigation knowledge and experience. The ability to createand manage a budget. Computer experience for budgeting and irrigationcontrol.

　　Compensation: \$32,000-\$38,000 annual salary depending onqualifications. Free family golf, and cart usage for full timeemployees. Idaho GCSA dues and GCSAA dues paid

　　Salmon Valley Golf Course has a current and complete equipment fleetconsisting mostly of Toro equipment. The irrigation system was installedfrom the ground up in 2007. Operating system is Toro E-Osmac with Torosite pro central control with individual head control. The golf courseis directed by a 7 member volunteer board with the Superintendentreporting to the green chairman and board in general.
