JOB SUMMARYProvides critical intensive care to Medical, Surgical, and Cardiac patient populationProvides therapies included but not limited to: Administration of vasoactive drugs, respiratory/ventilator support, management of cardiac status with continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, parenteral and enteral nutritional support, temporary transvenous pacing, Intra Aortic Balloon Pump Therapy, thrombolytic therapy, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), peritoneal dialysis, and acute hemodialysis performed by a hemodialysis nurse.Reports to: Director of CCU

JOB REQUIREMENTSMinimum EducationGraduate of a Program in Discipline - RequiredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressfulenvironment and take appropriate action.Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) -to be obtained within 30 daysAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - to be obtained within 6 monthsPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - to be obtained within 6 monthsRequired Licenses[West Virginia, United States] OtherCurrent registered nurse or compact licensure.
