JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview The Nursing Team Leader will have operationalaccountability for an assigned nursing area/unit, for an assigned shift.The Team Leader may perform direct nursing care as needed. Shifts willvary and may include weekends and holidays. The Nursing Team Leaderplans, organizes, and directs nursing care for their shift and does thisin accordance with the Mercyhealth\'s Mission, Vision, Values andPhilosophy. The Nursing Team Leader will maintain clinical expertise intheir area of responsibility and is expected to provide direct patientcare in proportion to the needs of their areas. This position will assist withinterviewing, selecting, orientating, training, coaching and mentoringof the team.
