Robert Half's healthcare client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with specific experience in using Intacct accounting software. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing accounting processes, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

General Ledger Management: Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes.

Accounts Payable/Receivable: Supervise and manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.

Intacct Software: Utilize Intacct accounting software for financial reporting, consolidations, budgeting, and forecasting. Leverage the software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules, supporting documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.

Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control procedures. Monitor financial transactions for adherence to company policies and accounting standards.

Financial Analysis: Perform detailed financial analysis and variance reporting, providing actionable insights to management to support business decisions.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of accounting functions, particularly leveraging Intacct for automation and reporting.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2+ years of experience using Intacct accounting software.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Intacct software, including financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial analysis. Experience with other ERP or accounting systems is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).

Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and accounting best practices.

Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders, auditors, and external partners.

Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative finance team.

Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
