Performs patient assessment, establishes therapeutic objectives for patients, performs diagnostic and therapeutic measures including assisted ventilation by manual devices or mechanical ventialtion and coordinates therapeutic objectives with nursing personnel and fellow therapists in an effort to provide maximum benefit to the patient. May assist with pulmonary function, diagnostic testing and bronchoscopy. Provides service to patients throughout the lifespan including newborns, children, adolescents, and geriatric age groups.

　　*Minimum Qualifications *

　　o Minimum Education: *  Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program approved by the NBRC. o *Minimum Experience:  One (1) year experience. o Certification/Licensure:  Must be currently licensed by the State of New Mexico as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Current registry (RRT) by the NBRC. Maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, NRP required.Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center. *EEOC Statement *
