　　This position is for a Test Engineer to support product development, implementation of test equipment and test methods for Reliability Engineering. This role will provide onsite test support in Greensboro, NC.

　　What You Will Do (Job Responsibilities)

　　· Designs & builds Reliability / Systems Lab test hardware and software using PLCs, National Instruments hardware/software, discrete components, and test equipment.

　　· Produces full-functionality automated software tests with associated hardware for microprocessor-based electronics and associated communication protocols.

　　· Operates in-house test equipment in areas such as the Systems, Environmental, Vibration, Water Ingress, and EMC Labs. Ensure facilities and equipment are operational and compliant through site validation and equipment verification.

　　· Coordinate work plans with project managers and effectively track, manage, and support multiple projects and priorities.

　　· Performs root cause analysis of failures identified during product development and testing. Work with responsible design team to mitigate and implement cost effective practical fixes to non-compliant products.

　　· Works in a strong team environment with willingness to learn, share and mentor associates.

　　· BSEE, or equivalent experience, required with the ability to develop detailed component to system level test equipment.

　　· Minimum 3 years engineering experience required, 5 years preferred.

　　· Ability to challenge status quo and modify/add new test procedures as needed.

　　· Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with good conceptual understanding of product reliability testing on component and system levels.

　　· Experience in leading as well as installing, programming, and utilization of automated test equipment and data acquisition equipment, such as: NI LabView, C++/C, Python, VB, JAVA, PLC programming, multi-axis robotics, sensors, stepper and servo motors.

　　· Position requires the ability to manage multiple projects while executing company objectives.

　　· Experience with testing and validation methods, corrective action and in depth understanding of Product Test Standards and how they relate to GVR systems is key.

　　· Proficient using Microsoft Office applications and Windows.

　　· Ability to write clean and concise technical documentation, e.g. Document test setup and procedures, process, analyze and report test data

　　· Experience with petroleum dispensers, payment, Short Range RFID devices and Point of Sale (POS) equipment a plus

　　· Experience researching, designing, testing, debugging, and optimizing robotic systems for component and system level test environments a plus.

　　· Reliability engineering test experience strongly desired.
