  Key Responsibilities:

  Providing direction to employees. Leading employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts. Perform daily supervisor responsibilities, project management, effective communication, and execution with support group members.

  Establish work schedules and monthly delivery plans considering resource availability that align with customer needs and satisfy financial obligations.

  Provide leadership and direction with an emphasis on team building through daily toolbox meetings, effective communications, and in developing an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and changes.

  Achieve target performance levels through disciplined execution of the Standard Production System (SPS) including but not limited to: Tiered accountability, Visual management system, Leader Standard Work.

  Demonstrate clear focus on accountability to daily results, rapid identification of root cause and effective implementation of corrective actions. Drive development of a strong problem-solving culture, through application of tools.

  Champion sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction through the system’s various elements. Communicate to peers requirements at supporting process to ensure smooth process flow. Hold employees accountable while maintaining a key working relationship. Drive World-class safety culture is maintained and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly. Control quality, productivity, and process flow to meet MRP requirements while ensuring a high level of customer happiness.

  Basic Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing/operations leadership experience in an operations or manufacturing setting required.

  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Experience with Continuous Improvement principles (lean manufacturing, ACE/CORE, QCPC, etc.).

  Consistent track record in team leadership roles.

  Computer proficiency in Excel a plus​.

  Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.

  What is my role type?

  In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is:

  Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

  The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

  Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

  This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
