About Reimbursement Specialist

  Starting Pay Rate: $18.85 per hour

  Benefits:

  Flexible work schedule menu to include the ability to work: a four-day work week, nine-day biweekly schedule with a three-day weekend every other week, or a typical five-day work schedule

  16 vacation annual days, 12 annual sick days, and 13 annual paid holidays

  401K 6% match

  Job Duties:

  The successful candidate will be expected to:

  Review incoming program reimbursement to ensure regulatory compliance

  Maintain an updated knowledgebase of program regulations and requirements pertaining to reimbursements

  Communicate with staff, participants, families, and brokers for necessary budget clarification

  Verify reimbursements against budgets and determine fund availability

  Education:

  College degree in accounting or related field is preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent is required

  Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of higher education

  Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and database experience required

  Basic accounting and intermediate mathematics

  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  Strong customer service and computer skills

  Ability to work independently with a diverse population and handle sensitive situations
