Vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccine requirements are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical, religious, or fully remote exemption. Requests for exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved exemption is required to start work.

Job Description
MSK Rehabilitation Therapy is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Rehabilitation Manager (Inpatient ) to provide leadership to the Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) team. In this forward-facing role, you will partner with the Director of Rehabilitation and collaborate with Supervisors , other Rehabilitation Managers , and Sr. Leadership to achieve high-level department and service line patient access initiatives while ensur ing compliance, regulatory, educational endeavors, and policies & procedures are followed . This role is on-site based in Manhattan, primarily at Memorial Hospital.
At MSK, we offer world class training within our rehabilitation service focusing on opportunities to develop innovative, therapeutic programs for a diverse patient population. As a leader in oncology rehabilitation, we offer inpatient and outpatient rehab services to assist patients throughout their continuum of care focusing on improved quality of life, overall function, and independent management as needed. Our outstanding Rehab team includes Physiatrists, OT, PT, PTA, Rehabilitation Assistants, and support team members who are committed to serving our patients’ well-being. Our line of clinical care includes specialty areas in pediatrics and lymphedema. We are looking for an individual passionate about patient-centered treatment, teamwork, and best practice which results in an exceptional patient experience.
You will:
P romote the vision and initiatives of the Rehabilitation Service
Provide clinical oversight and direction of inpatient occupational and physical therapy services in an acute care hospital and outpatient pediatric setting
Build and lead an effective and efficient clinical team to drive excellence in timely provision of skilled therapy services and deliver innovative, quality care
Establish, maintain, and update clinical workflows, standard operating policies and procedures to ensure patient access and smooth delivery of services
Oversee leadership and management of staff orientation, training, and mentorship, academic education affiliations, and quality improvement initiatives
Uphold compliance-related institutional policies, federal, and state regulations
You are:

You have:
A NYS Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist license (by date of hire)
Bachelor's Degree required
5+ years’ experience in a hospital-based acute care setting required
2+ years’ supervisory experience preferred
Outpatient, o ncology, lymphedema clinical work experience preferred
Schedule :
M onday-Friday, on-site day shift, within hours of 7 a to 7 p (subject to change depending on operational needs ); Holidays and weekend s as needed
