Regional Sales Manager – Club Sales

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Pilgrim’s Retail Sales Manager to manage and to grow branded further processed and value-added sales within the club channel.

This position will cover sales to regions across the United States .

Responsibilities:

Manage and grow relationships to drive branded growth within the club channel.

Collaborate with the prepared foods business unit to maximize the reach of the Pilgrim’s branded portfolio.

Manage and establish growth goals for club business and implement strategy to accomplish goals.

Create and edit presentations for customer sell in meetings.

Review weekly analytics and conduct weekly communications with club regions to measure results and adjust strategy.

Communicate, negotiate, and manage program presentations and agreements with top accounts.

Knowledge of retail item offering, product capability, and current price list.

Regular collaboration with Directors to review and update strategies and initiatives.

Accept ownership of sales objectives and all facets of our business that impact sales growth and management.

Work in tandem with Pilgrim’s corporate office to develop and be responsible for margin realization.

Be informed about and able to communicate market and industry changes that will affect our performance and growth.

Proactively manage and communicate all aspects of channel promotional programs for all regions.

Key team sales member to achieve all goals in the club/retail channel.

Be a detailed business professional that can effectively manage several complex programs in a dynamic customer and corporate environment.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred; can be substituted for related experience.

Must be able to travel.

Proven experience within sales and account management within branded food / beverage industry.

5+ years' experience in retail food sales required.

Experience in the Club Channel.

Protein (poultry) experience preferred.

Ability to represent Pilgrims and sell our brand and corporate mission.

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

Proficient computer skills-Microsoft Office.

Collaborative/Accountable/Results driven/ Detail Oriented.

Analytical and process oriented

Able and willing to communicate effectively.

Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :

Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

Paid Time Off : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

401(k) : company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

Base salary range of $100,000 - $130,000 ; and

Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in states where it is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for any given position, compensation ranges are specific to those states and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
