We have an immediate opportunity for an Application Tech Assistant in our Princeton, NJ facility. His/her mission will be to support our mid-size fragrance solution requests for local and global clients. Maintains a clean and orderly working laboratory environment according to cGMP. Assures compliance of HS&E procedures and proactively contribute to the improvement of lab safety. Accomplishes tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small. Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of their actions. Develops and sustains productive customer relationships. ▪ Contributes to overall team success. Actively participates as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals. Identifies inefficiencies and proposes viable solutions following Lean Management principles and guidelines.

Your key responsibilities
Prepare larger bulk solution orders (max 15 kilos) and ship samples for clients using our CLASS sampling system and independently operate standard equipment/procedures to the required level.
Manage/prepare timelines for all orders per protocol.
Test samples for performance, while adhering to delivery due dates and applying good laboratory practices
Work with our technical development team to ensure most recent formulas are being used.
Keep personal workbench clean, organized as per best practices and optimizes personal collection of raw materials.
Maintain inventory stock of all lab supplies/packaging.
Work with the shipping department to ensure all orders are packed correctly and with shipping documents per protocol.
Keep collection of raw materials fresh and ensuring all expired ones are removed while maintaining and up-to-date collection of fragrance oils related to sampling.
Prepare small scale bar soap samples
Assure compliance with Operations Safety Protocols, as well as HS&E procedures.
Coordinate waste disposal with the appropriate teams.
Operate with a team spirit mindset and supports their colleagues under high workload situations.

You bring
Previous experience in a perfumery or FMCG company strongly preferred
Proficiency in MS Office Applications such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint
REQUIRED – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree/experience preferably in a concentration of science along with a minimum of 3 years of practical laboratory experience.
