Siemens Energy Inc. is currently searching for a Regional Sales Manager to be based in or around the Chicago, IL area. As part of the Transmission & Distribution sales team you will have a great opportunity to work with renewable developers, investor-owned utilities, and EPC companies in the energy industry on impactful infrastructure projects and state-of-the art transmission and distribution solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Provide Transmission & Distribution solutions and product sales coverage in the Chicago, Il area.
Maintain long-term, strategic relationships with key customers.
Build account plans and sales strategies.
Understand and follow electrical industry and energy market trends.
Serve as a single point of contact to strategic customers, leading technical and commercial negotiations.
Navigate solution and consultative based selling to utilities, independent power producers, developers and EPCs.
What You Bring
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical related field.
3+ years sales/marketing/engineering experience with an understanding of the energy industry/electrical utilities/renewable energy. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
Must have some experience with Energy/Transmission and Distribution industry or Siemens Energy knowledge of products/solutions.
Ability to build, grow and maintain positive relationships.
Excellent communicator (verbal and written), ability to lead a defined strategy internally with multiple product lines in support of proposal responses and contract negotiations.
Ability to travel 50% domestically and on occasion internationally.
