　　SUMMARYANSYS, Inc. seeks R&D Engineer II to work in Canonsburg, PA and various unanticipated locations

　　RESPONSIBILITIESContributes to the development of software products and supporting systems.Will collaborate with a team of expert professionals to understand customer requirements and accomplish development objectives.Perform complex development activities, including the design, implementation, maintenance, and testing of software modules and sub-systems in the area of solver-meshing;Participate in planning and research;Investigate problems discovered by QA or product support and develops solutions;Perform complex bug verification and release testing;Understand the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues.

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study.Alternate Acceptable Education and Work Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study, and two (2) years of experienceinany occupation in which the required experience was gainedWork experience or academic coursework must have included:Experience with software design and development methodologies including C/C++ programming, numerical analysis, data structured and algorithms;Experience with design and development of CFD software;Experience with parallel and high-performance computingAdditional work location information: Telecommuting permitted from anywhere within the US.
