We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the IT Software industry. The role is based in HONOLULU, Hawaii and offers a hybrid work model. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for the company's financial matters and will be reporting to the Fractional Controller. If interested in this role, please call us at 808-531-8056. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly.

• Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account activity.

• Perform account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare and post journal entries and manage the general ledger.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP in performing accounting tasks.

• Conduct month-end close activities.

• Utilize your knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and AR/AP/Bank Reconciliation.

• Contribute to the company's growth and development with your innovative ideas and critical thinking skills.

Requirements • Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant in the IT Software industry

• Strong proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries

• Advanced knowledge in using Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Experience in performing Month End Close activities

• Proficiency in using financial software like NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field

• Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

• Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
