  Raft Guides for the Grand Teton Lodge Company are responsible for the safety of passengers, interpretive narration, and correct navigation of float trips on the Snake River. Our guides are required to have a minimum of three years of commercial rafting experience and must be able to demonstrate the required skills before starting work.

  Job Specifications:

  Outlet:  Jackson Lake Lodge

  Expected Pay Range: $95.00 / trip

  Shift & Schedule Availability:  Full Time

  Job Responsibilities:

  Safely navigate 10 mile stretches of the Snake River with up to 12 guests on board.

  Conduct thorough safety talks and completed required documentation prior to each trip.

  Provide interpretive trips, engaging our guests on the history of the Grand Teton National Park, while safely navigating the Snake River.

  Complete pre-trip safety inspections on all equipment (life jackets, rafts, trailers, ect)

  Ensure that all rafting equipment is well-maintained and in good working condition. Perform routing checks to identify and address any safety concerns.

  Be prepared to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and be capable of executing swift and effective responses.

  Complete Swift Water Rescue Training annually.

  Other duties as assigned

  Job requirements:

  Minimum of three years of commercial raft guiding experience

  Adult/Child CPR Certification

  Wilderness First Aid Certification

  Successful completion of MVR

  Must be in good physical condition.

  Must be able to accept responsibility and be able to make good "snap" decisions in an emergency

  The expected pay range is $95.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
