Job Description:
At Regions, the Quality/Process Improvement Analyst develops and implements programs to establish and maintain quality standards of existing products and services, as well as developing programs that focus on quality improvement. This position solves routine problems and works with moderate supervision.
Primary Responsibilities
Assists with pre- and post- performance analysis that ultimately enhance and improve risk mitigation processes
Measures and compares current processes with identified procedures and policies, monitors processes, and provides management summaries with recommendations for error prevention
Promotes best practices and implements solutions
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
One (1) year of quality assurance, audit and/or operational business unit experience
Preferences
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience with project management software (ex: Microsoft Project)
Skills and Competencies
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
Effective analytical and critical thinking skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Develop visual process flows of department operational processes and control points
Conduct gap analysis of department procedures and controls to identify enhanced control opportunities
May contribute to workflow or process change and redesign, and risk and control identification
Evaluates processes, procedures, and people to identify continuous improvement opportunities
Partner with management and other stakeholders to enhance the efficiency and risk management of department processes.
Create new controls and maintain control lifecycle in GRC including creation of new controls, managing deliverables for Risk Assessments, control testing, and ensuring the effectiveness of department controls.
Conduct quarterly reviews of control suite with management and Risk partners.
Monitor department findings and partner with Issue Owners to close remediation plans.
Develop and maintain an end-to-end department wide change control process
