Aston Carter is hiring a Plant Accountant in Fort Wayne, IN! This position offers a competitive pay with a top company in the area!

　　Job Description:

　　Prepare and analyze Work In Process reports

　　Analyze job production costs, material variances and sales margins

　　Prepare sales invoices, purchase settlement statements and record entries into the general ledger

　　Prepares monthly and periodic tax reports for filing and payment with various state and federal agencies

　　Analyzes and explains monthly and seasonal fluctuations in volume and amounts as compared to prior months and budget

　　Follows up on payments and invoices to assure accurate and timely collection

　　Reconcile volumes and values from spreadsheets and allocations software to the general ledger

　　Balance the plant monthly to assure all quantities and related values are properly captured and accounted for

　　Excellent analytical, planning, organizational and solutions-oriented skills.

　　Skills & Qualifications:

　　5-7 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing space

　　Cost Accounting experience is preferred

　　Manufacturing industry experience is preferred

　　MBA / CPA is a nice to have
