Quality & Safety Improvement Manager Job Location US-MN-Center City ID 2024-10956 Status Full Time Shift Day Schedule Mon - Fri Hours of Work 8:00 to 4:30 Responsibilities The Quality and Safety Improvement Consultant examines complex organizational issues in order to identify, develop, and execute projects that will impact the strategic priorities for patient safety and quality improvement. This role oversees and executes cross-departmental, cross-functional, complex projects requiring strong collaboration with dyad clinical and operational leaders, central business operations, and other stakeholders. This role will also work cross-divisionally to build a culture of process improvement and patient safety in alignment with the organization's strategic initiatives and goals. Maintain Event Reporting System Administration Facilitate multifaceted quality, safety and performance improvement projects Develop and implement quality assessment and performance improvement program Provide Organizational Training & Process Improvement Maintain systems of measurement, evaluation and reporting of quality and safety issues so that they are routinely reviewed, addressed, improved, and monitored Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in health care administration or closely related field required (Nursing, Nursing Informatics, Information Technology, Business or degree related to applicable department). Minimum two (2) years progressive experience in patient safety or facilitating interdisciplinary improvement teams in a healthcare setting, or other relevant experience. Minimum two (2) years of experience working directly with online safety-event reporting systems. Experience facilitating quality improvement in a healthcare setting. Strong communication, project management, and change management skills. Demonstrated ability to quantify the direct results of process improvement efforts. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in health care administration or closely related field Documented expertise and certification with LEAN, six sigma, and/or other performance improvement/quality improvement methodologies.
