Reporting to the Quality Manager, as the Quality Engineer, your main responsibility will be to support Quality FPY in Processing and Paint departments followed by management of NMS for NCR (Non-Conformance Report) lifecycle.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES
· Lead, facilitate, and conduct non-conformance investigations (RCCA) and Continuous Improvement initiatives for Processing and Paint departments.
· Manage and track inputs and outputs of NCRs in NMS to ensure parts are returned to production expeditiously. i.e., Initiate NCR, approval, submittals (on customer paper if required), RCCA and closure.
· MRB quarantine management that ties directly with NCRs.
· NCR data analysis to track for trends and issue CAPAs for repeat findings, assign responsibilities, and follow-up for completion.
· Act as MRB QA representative to review and approve manufacturing plans, technical documentation, and NCR rework plans.
· Support in-house QMS and Special Process audit schedule as needed.
· Support preparation and participate in 3rd party Nadcap and AS9100 audits.
· Develop and provide training related to quality or other needs as identified
· Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION:
University degree/college diploma in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education/training and experience5-10 years aerospace quality experience with knowledge of ISO 9000/AS9100, FAA regulations, part inspections and conformities, corrective/preventive actions, root cause analysis, proper use of inspection equipment, and internal auditing.```{=html}

Previous customer relations experience preferred.- Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to work constructively within teams, focused on problem solving- Demonstrated ability to work within tight timelines- Strong ability to make quality decisions while remaining customer focused- Demonstrated ability to work independently, with minimal supervision- Experienced in MS Office computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project)
