Individuals with a recent Ph.D. and a background in cellular and/or molecular biology, immunology or biomedical engineering are encouraged to apply. Previous experience with any of the following is desirable: transgenic mice, genomics/bioinformatics, micro-computed tomography, flow cytometry or small animal surgeries. Although a Ph.D. degree is preferred, we will consider those with other doctoral degrees and related experience. Qualified individuals will demonstrate the potential for research as evidenced by their training and peer-reviewed publications and should become competitive for national research grants. This position is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at UMN or elsewhere. Preference will be given to individuals who meet the requirements of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery T32 training grant.
