Description:
The Customer Quality Engineer will be a key interface between OEM's and the internal team. Their primary focus will be to manage and achieve APQP and milestone events during all program phases including pre launch. They will execute PPAP submission, approval, and hand off following SPMP guidelines. They will also handle corrective action responsibilities similar to a plant quality engineer, but need to have previous supplier/ customer interface.
Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVES:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
5+ years of quality engineering experience
Experience with APQP and PPAPs
Experience with customer interaction and customer program development
Experience working under ISO9001, IATF16949, or TS16949 quality standards
