Quality AuditorImmediate opportunities are available fortalentQuality Auditorswhowant to become part of the Johnson Controls team.In this role you willperform Quality Audits on finished goods (box audits),purchasedparts, inprocess part and subassemblies.You will measureparts againstspecificationsfromboth supplier and in-house fabrication.You will alsoberesponsible forassistingwith reporting,feedback, usingprocessimprovement tools, andprocess mapping.

HowYouWillDoIt:

Read and understand Operational Method Sheets (OMS) and workinstructions.

Performs partial disassembly of some finishedgoodsfor inspectionpurposes by hand and with hand tools.

Performs operations such as drilling, screwing, and boltingnecessary to perform disassembly/assembly work.

Uses tools and equipment such as special gauges, testing equipment,dial indicators, micrometers, measuring tapes, scales, venires,small hand tools, blueprints, personal computer and AS400 operatingsystem.

Works individually at a preassigned audit station.

Ensures product quality through audits of manufacturing processes,quality procedures, work instructions, operational method sheets andproduct specifications.

Reports abnormal quality conditions, checkspurchasedparts andmaterials asrequired, makes outrequiredtags and inspection reports,keepsworkstationin order andobservesall safety rules.
