　　An FDA-registered, FSSC 22000-certified GMP chemical manufacturer of high-purity specialty chemicals for pharmaceutical, biotech, nutritional, food, and other markets. They were recently reclassified as an API to support pharmaceutical products as well as food etc.

　　Job Description:

　　Works under the direction of microbiology supervisor.

　　Conducts microbiological assays and performs routine environmental monitoring.

　　Tasks

　　Conduct testing such as pour plate, membrane filtration, swab testing, water testing, enumeration of organisms, growth promotion testing, and routine environmental monitoring.

　　Conduct organism identification as needed.

　　Create purchase orders and order supplies as needed.

　　Trend data efficiently

　　Calibrate instruments and perform instrument qualifications as required.

　　Log equipment temperature readings daily.

　　Open investigations, as necessary

　　Complete change controls for document issues.

　　Gram stains and provide morphological characteristics.

　　Interface with other departments daily to answer questions or communicate sample status.

　　Perform other related duties as assigned to meet departmental and company objectives.

　　Skills & Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, or related science; or equivalent combination of bachelor’s degree and pertinent, progressive experience in pharmaceutical or other highly related industry.

　　Minimum 1 year of experience in a microbiology laboratory is required

　　Needs to demonstrate mastery of micro techniques on resume

　　Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, food, or other highly regulated industries preferred

　　Skills & Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related science; or equivalent combination of Bachelor’s degree and pertinent, progressive experience in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry.

　　One year of experience in a microbiology laboratory; or

　　Associate’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related science and five years’ pertinent and progressive experience in pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries.
