About Public Relations Intern (part-time position located in St. Louis)

  This Internship is a paid opportunity based out of our St. Louis office and anticipated to begin in May and go through August. This is a part-time position, hours will not exceed 29.5 hours/week.

  Responsibilities:

  You will support account teams across the firm with delivering high quality first-draft documents to include advisories, press release materials, client correspondence and media pitches. You will also support the team with event management and logistics, media relations efforts, compiling research, market data and other client-related materials for multiple industries. We look for hard work, accuracy, creativity and the capability to manage several tasks while maintaining a high level of team support.   

  The ideal attributes are:

  Agility on all business-related social media platforms

  Demonstration of written capabilities through work, internship, and/or college related experiences

  Passion for the industry and willingness to expand your knowledge

  Superb communication skills

  Understanding of Microsoft programs including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  Proficiency with online research, database management and press release timelines

  Solid understanding of media relations fundamentals: press releases, media protocols and training

  Contribute to the firm’s overall mission 

  Contribute to a positive company culture

  Preferred education and experience

  Seeking a degree in communication, journalism, public relations or related study

  Seniors preferred
