What you willdo: Work with the Northwestern Mutual front offices, Managed Investmentbusiness partners, brokers and traders supporting the timely andaccurate execution of transactions related to investments managed byMason Street Advisors and Northwestern Investment Management Companyincluding settlement of trades, ongoing maintenance, and transactionssuch as principal, interest, cash flows, fees, and corporate actions.Investments managed include domestic fixed income, common stock,derivatives, foreign, and alternative investments. Responsible for dataintegrity, accounting, reporting, and compliance, respond to inquiriesregarding investment holdings and trading activity. Maintain investmentdata, including reconciliations; assure timely investment positionupdating, critical attributive investment data, and accurate daily cashaccounting. How you will do it: Ensure accurate and efficient executionof reoccurring transactions in most asset classes in PI, MSA, NMC andNMRE\'s public and private managed portfolios including domestic fixedincome, common stock, foreign, private placements, real estate equityand mortgage loans. Work with front office to settle transactions.Collaborate with more senior staff members to solve more complex issuesand may work with custodial bank representatives, brokers, traders andfield offices. Respond to inquiries regarding investment holdings andactivity. Maintain investment data on various systems, conductsreconciliations and work closely with Investment Accounting, FinancialManagement, Law and other related investment areas to resolve issues.Assure timely and accurate investment position, commitment updating andcritical attributive investment data.
