A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Medium Gas Turbine (MGT) Project Manager (PM) you will be responsible for implementing Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA) within Region North America (RNA). MGT are fabricated in Finspang Sweden and range in size from 24 Mw to 57 Mw. Your day will begin with reviewing the daily operation of your assigned units which may include the Gas Turbine, Main Gear Box, Generator, and European Steam Turbine. Prepare and conduct outage planning using Siemens Energy’s Total Maintenance Service philosophy. Generate and record non-conformances, and quality escapes using approved tools. Prepare various financially reports for senior Management while managing various levels of technical support and/or professional staff in a medium sized project, class C or B, or in a part of a strategic project. Employee will be based out of US.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Facilitate the execution of project/program solution plan for complex projects or programs.
Support the project/program management role (definition of schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity, and resource allocation management) for complex projects or programs.
Act as a functional or business process resource on projects or programs.
Facilitate execution of continuous improvement plan.
Perform active role in maintaining client relationships and sales opportunities.
Knowledge of POC accounting.
What You Bring
BS in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Project Management, degree outside of Engineering may be substituted with field experience. 8+ years’ experience in Power Generation; technical experience in Small, Medium or Large Gas Turbine Maintenance.
Required amount of travel with the position 15-35%.
Required knowledge, PM @ Siemens, IPMA Certified, or able to obtain certification within five years.
