　　Job Description

　　Ryan Companies has an exciting opportunity this summer to join our team as a High School Project Engineer Intern! This role is designed for high schoolers to gain exposure specific to a Project Management position. Additionally, this role will gain insight into additional opportunities available in the construction industry.

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　Assist the project team in the completion of designated projects while focusing on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and Ryan business policies.Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.Jobsite experience will be limited to interns that are over the age of 18.Minimum Qualifications:

　　Interest in a career in the construction industry.Able to work at least 20 hours per week in-person.Able to commute to our Des Moines office.Working toward a high school diploma.Preferred Qualifications:

　　Strong written and verbal communication skillsShow a high level of professionalism and the ability to juggle multiple tasksSelf-motivatedEager to work with a project team and learn about the construction industryEligibility
