Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Director to join our team!
In this role, you will get to Provide direction and management for every phase of project fit-out, snagging, handover, testing and commissioning, and other related requirements to ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.
You will join a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management team working on multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh’s new Central Business District that combines a mixture of world-class commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, and contemporary residences in addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living.
What You'll Be Doing:
Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution.
Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
Collaborates with Business Development to market and secure additional work with client.
Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
Participates in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.
Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction related field
Minimum 20 years experience
Experience leading major programs
Expertise in leading major international Resort Development projects of large-scale
Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project.
Ensures that the project meets or exceeds the goals established in these plans.
Works with the key project individual to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work.
Advises the client and company management of any such changes.
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
