This is an exciting opportunity to impact in the Azure solution areas (including our new AI business!) by designing new cloud consumption frameworks supporting key solution plays and sales motions as part of the Innovation Acceleration Program (IAP). The Finance Manager will partner closely with the Microsoft Customer & Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Sales and Corporate organizations, also Area Field teams on developing consumption analytics that drive Azure Rhythm of the Business (ROB) and is part of the MCAPS Core Finance Azure team. This Finance Manager role will also be part of the worldwide Azure Finance community and will collaborate closely with Region Product Leaders, engineering groups (EG) Finance Leads at Corp, and other product-aligned business leaders.

Responsibilities
Partnership
Partner with MCAPS Sales, EG and Marketing to facilitate cloud consumption analytics supporting critical Azure motions across solution areas, segments, and areas.
Enable deeper understanding of key Azure workloads by building models that provide actionable insights and follow up with field leader across Sales and Finance orgs.
Understand competitive market insights, provide thought leadership to challenge business leads around new business opportunities / growth road map landscape.
Develop and land scalable ROB frameworks that help simplify business performance analytics for Finance and Business leadership teams.
Processes
Accountable for Finance content within MCAPS ROB (e.g. Month End results, Quarterly Business reviews, area performance reviews (APRs)/quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
Drive Cloud reporting and business intelligence (BI) work-streams supporting key Azure motions.
Present at Corp. Finance LT reviews and MCAPS corporate vice presidents CVP monthly business reviews (MBRs)
This role is part of a 5 people team at MCAPS Corp., driving Azure ROB
People
Work closely with worldwide Azure Finance managers and partner with the global Community Lead to focus on the key insights and projects to accelerate our growth.
Identify finance best practices and share them broadly across all areas.
Connect the dots and help Field finance teams land the Corp strategy or escalate issues and help needed.

Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field
OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field
OR equivalent experience
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should be able to display advanced business partnering capabilities and analytical strength.
Understanding of Finance Revenue Tools and Processes, ideally with experience in Product Controllership.
Financial Analysis IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $72,800 - $144,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $95,100 - $157,900 per year.
