The purpose of a Clerk in WPL is to coordinate all WPL functions using the chickway computer. This associate will be responsible for processing customer orders according to completion times with little to no cuts. Other responsibilities include typing, filing, answering telephones, and working with sales on any changes in orders.

Principal and Essential Duties Responsibilities

Assist Chickway computer by monitoring completion times, barcode formats, and updating end of shift reports.

Work with sales on any changes on order quantities and sell-bys.

Also communicate with sales on maintaining minimum volume of work orders for WPL.

Update all SPC graphs and performance graphs for supervisors.

Track all rework boxes and apply them to new orders.

Keep up to date files on all supervisors reports, short sheets, spreadsheets, scale reports, etc

Perform other clerical responsibilities such as typing memos, answering telephones, running copies, etc.

Minimum Education

High School degree or equivalent with analytical skills.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

May need to access files, supplies and equipment.

Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.

Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.

May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.

May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.

May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.

Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
