Description
The job involves responsibilities like managing general ledger accounts for creating financial statements and reports, performing variance analysis, preparing and reconciling financial entries, and participating in monthly or quarterly close process. This role also requires supporting audit processes and handling various accounting projects. Ideal candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, have over 2 years of experience in public accounting, possess a strong grasp of GAAP, and have the ability to balance simultaneous tasks and projects. Strong relationship-building skills within the organization are also beneficial.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a public accounting or equivalent role
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience in the healthcare, hospital, or social assistance industries is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
