Production Technologist - 1800106787 

　　DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:As a Production Technologist, you will work with our Production Engineering team on coatings formulation and process improvement projects. You will focus on the point where technical and manufacturing meet to increase batch efficiency, troubleshoot production issues, and reduce processing cycle times. You will also be trained as an Oracle R12, Novaflow, Rexson, and Dromont systems expert, and in charge of correcting system transaction errors.

　　Key Responsibilities* Complete and document project work related to formulation/batch processing improvements.* Work with engineering, production supervisors, quality, and technical teams to resolve production issues, identify raw material issues, identify root cause to prevent recurrence.* Work with Production technicians on resolving Oracle system errors, completing and closing dispense batch ticket.* Act as go to expert in dispense cell related processes and systems (Oracle, Rexson, Novaflow, Dromont)* Work with production technicians on completing and closing batch tickets, troubleshooting system errors, and improving plant processes* Identify production challenges and improvement opportunities to lead Springdale to best in class within PPG

　　Qualifications (4-6 maximum bullet points in this section)* Bachelor's degree in scientific subject field* 2+ Years experience in paint/chemical manufacturing facilities or laboratory* Above average computer skills, experience with Oracle R12 ERP System preferred
