　　Job Requirements:

　　The Millwright is responsible for the proper carrying out of Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that quality and production standards are met. The Millwright’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

　　Possess a working knowledge of basic mathematics and a competent level of reading and writing.

　　Able to interpret mechanical prints, schematics and instruction manuals.Superior knowledge in all phases of mechanical trouble shooting and installation practices.

　　Have the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air, oil, steam and stock systems and related control equipment.

　　Understand the concepts of oil fired boilers and the auxiliary equipment used for producing steam.

　　Capable of maintaining and repairing power transmission equipment common to the paper manufacturing industry.

　　Skills in fabricating, welding, brazing and cutting all common metals. Able to operate lift trucks and understand the fundamentals of rigging and moving equipment. Able to instruct/direct and train assisting personnel and or other maintenance personnel. Able to conduct all responsibilities in a skilled and safe manner.

　　These responsibilities may change in the future to keep up with customer demands, equipment changes and improved operating or safety procedures.

　　This is a non-exempt Union Position, with an hourly rate of $27.40 per hour.
