Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Architect to provide enterprise guidance for application security and design in multiple cloud environments. The application security architect proactively and holistically leads and interacts with internal partners and third-party vendors for solutions that include projects, systems (including applications, technologies, processes, and information), shared infrastructure services and shared application services. The architect understands the concepts of business goals, objectives, outcomes, capabilities, value-streams, and business processes and their importance in solution architecture.
Responsibilities
Lead analysis, and design tasks related to supporting the development of security solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards.
Create deliverables for managing the organization's portfolio of "to be" and "as is" cloud application security capabilities — including systems (applications, processes, information, and technology), shared infrastructure services, and shared application services and components to enable and drive targeted business outcomes.
Maintains personal and management awareness of emerging industry security technologies, technology issues, regulatory issues, and practices.
Provide Information Security subject matter expertise in various risk assessments.
Provide subject matter expertise for customer-initiated audits of business security practices.
Participate in Information Security audits of the bank's external vendor/service providers to ensure they comply with auditing standards and requirements.
Responsible for system administration of services and triaging service errors or system issues that are impeding the deployment and operation of the services. Off-hour duties are in the job scope for maintaining the services and responding to service disruptions.
This is a hybrid role , Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
At least 7 years of experience within a total information technology (IT) environment
At least 7 years of experience with the design, development and support of technology infrastructure
Preferred Skills/Experience
Technical Owner of a CIAM product in a large enterprise
At least 7 years’ experience with the concepts, philosophies, and tools behind the deployment/management of information services and underlying information technologies.
Experience with products in this space would be Ping Identity , ForgeRock , Transmit , Okta
At least 5 years’ experience with developing and implementing applications.
Experience as a technical owner of a CIAM product in a large enterprise
Experience collaborating and troubleshooting with software development teams to analyze issues and formulate solution improvements. Direct coding experienceis a strong plus.
4+ years of experience with vendor management
4+ years of experience with server capacity management & network infrastructure troubleshooting
Strong experience with procedures & policy development for managing technology products
5+ years of experience with regulatory compliance audit and evidence request & documentation
5 - 7years of experience with s erver (Linux), network & application configuration management & administration
4+ years of experience with operating system, load balancing and application software configuration & infrastructure support
1- 3 years' experience with contingency, resiliency, and disaster recovery
Understanding of common cryptography standards and ability to troubleshoot
Experience with data security/privacy regulations applicable to highly regulated enterprise
2- 4 years of experience with common data storage solutions operations (MS-SQL, Oracle, Mongo)
Familiarity with Azure cloud services (AZ-900 certification and other Azure certifications a plus)
2-4 years of experience support and administration of common monitoring platforms such as AppDynamics & Splunk

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00
