The Site Procurement Operations Center (SPOC) is seeking a Sr. Manager, Supply Chain to join our team and drive a large global initiative with XCM team. This role partners with XCM business leaders to define, create, implement and execute packaging marketing process paths to Plan, Source, Manufacture and Ship without disrupting day-to-day field operations. They develop models, tools, and processes to increase the overall supply chain reliability, responsiveness, costs efficiency and asset utilization. They use strong quantitative skills, analyze large complex data sets, and identify trends to make data driven decisions that transforms the end-to-end supply chain. They deliver accurate forecasting, identify areas of growth, contraction, and business health. They decompose significantly complex network problems into straightforward solutions. In summary, this Sr. Manager spearheads the operations strategy and high-quality execution to invent, simplify, and scale packaging marketing as a worldwide media channel in partnership with category procurement, suppliers, site operations, analytics, ACES, PE, and CPEX.Key job responsibilities- Thrive in an ambiguous environment in a leadership role and be a conduit for to drive performance on initiatives across multiple Amazon business lines.- Root cause opportunities and extract insights using a data driven approach- Think holistically and strategically to plan, organize, and drive complex and milestone driven projects to ensure end-to-end success- Implement process improvement and software driven solutions while identifying, managing and influencing complex relationships concurrently across multiple internal teams- Handle business escalations with a data-driven approach to build trust with Senior Amazon leaders- Take ownership of document/roadmap creation to support planning, design and operational efficiency of packaging marketing.- Create, maintain, and disseminate project information confidently and on a regular basis to Amazon senior executives, senior leadership teams, and key stakeholders.A day in the lifeThis role partners with XCM business leaders to define, create, implement and execute packaging marketing process paths to Plan, Source, Manufacture and Ship without disrupting day-to-day field operations. We prioritize our operations customers while developing strong relationships with suppliers, and key stakeholders across the Global Procurement Organization and other Amazon businesses. Our team centralizes non-inventory processes in order to drive standardization, cost reduction, and efficiencies, and operates on a 24/7 basis to provide consistent support to stakeholders.
