  Microsoft Security Service Edge is a new set of network security services delivered as SaaS that enable customer to modernize their access so users can access any resource anywhere anytime. Our team is looking for a Principal Product Manager.In this role you will be responsible for defining a new platform capability to enable us to enforce network data loss prevention controls across both Entra Private Access and Entra internet Access.

  Responsibilities

  Partner with product leadership to refine the strategy for network DLP and Microsoft SSE.

  Define product capabilities inspired by customers taking engineering and market constraints into account.

  Design and build product capabilities with engineering, design, user research, documentation.

  Engage customers to validate and refine product offering and enable customer deployment.

  Develop effective, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and drive alignment.

  Work closely with product marketing and customer success to position offering and enable sales organization to help customers discover, try, buy and deploy.

  Qualifications

  Required/Minimum Qualifications

  Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  OR equivalent experience

  4+ years of experience with network and/or identity and/or security technologies and/or cloud infrastructure services.

  Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  OR equivalent experience.

  Experience interacting with enterprise customers and identifying key customer problems to be solved.

  Understanding of network and/or identity and/or security technologies and passion for infrastructure services.

  Network security experience is a plus.

  Demonstrated technical problem solving and communication skills.

  Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements Demonstrated leadership and solid cross-team skills.

  Other Requirements:

  Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

  Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

  Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
