In this role, you will be working onseveral multi-discipline projects simultaneously. You will prepare drawingsfor all types of survey plans, including but not limited to, ALTAsurveys, Transportation Right-of-Way Plans, Parcel Ownership Maps, TMOSStopo surveys, and all types of easement drawings and annexation plans.Job Activities:Determines survey criteria, drawing sequence and presentation, sizingvarious system components and refining rough sketches and notes obtained fromstandard calculations.Determines survey criteria, drawing sequence, and presentation, underdirect supervision,Performs routine technical duties and assists in development of projects.Develops survey concepts; prepares documents during survey development phase.Corrects and updates survey documents.Develops solutions to survey issues.Supervises and mentors less senior staff members.Notifies supervisor of current workload to ensure work is spread evenly acrossstaff.Ensures work projects are complete and accurate to assist in the firm'ssuccess.Specific Requirements include:Associate or Technical Degree with a focus in Computer Aided Drafting(CAD) preferred4+ years of experience in Land Survey or the drafting of survey planspreferred.Experience with MicroStation required.Civil3D and OpenRoads experience requiredKnowledge of CDOT survey standards and TMOSS preferred.Previous topographic, construction layout, and boundary survey experiencepreferred.Experience with ArcGIS a plusAbout Farnsworth GroupFarnsworth Group is an award winning, employee-owned engineering,architecture, and surveying firm with more than 500 employees located innearly 30 offices nationwide.
