Post Doctoral Fellow: Laboratory of Professor Robert Schwarcz, Ph.D., the Department of Psychiatry, Maryland Psychiatric Research Center (MPRC), University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for Post Doctoral Fellow with expertise in vivo microdialysis. The Schwarcz laboratory is seeking a highly motivated Post Doctoral Fellow to work on NIH-funded projects focusing on the role of various tryptophan metabolites in the physiology and pathology of the rodent brain. The successful candidate will work with leaders in the field in a collaborative and scientifically rich environment. Qualifications Education: Ph.D. in a neuroscience-related field. Experience: Significant laboratory experience with in vivo microdialysis in both anesthetized and freely moving rodents (rats and mice). Knowledge and Skills: Must have an adequate record of publications as well as oral and written communication skills. Ability to work both as a team member and independently is essential.
