About the role
We have a new opportunity within our stellar TPB EMEA Marketing team for a Portfolio Manager, EMEA. Reporting to the Portfolio and Product Manager this role will be responsible for the development of the Portfolio Strategy to ensure we have the right product /right purpose /right place to deliver growth for the business including identifying and managing all inputs and outputs of the portfolio over a 24 month horizon in line with TWE Category, Portfolio, Brand & Customer Strategies.
This role will also facilitate the regional Portfolio Management Review (PMR), whereby the inputs (New Product) and outputs (deletions) are quantified and measured in line with targets
The role will also leverage insights (customer, consumer and category) to identify opportunities to define the portfolio vision and opportunities for new product development or opportunities for extensions to current portfolio offerings and accountable for the identification of market opportunities and insights to develop powerful initiatives against the current portfolio of brands and NPD
Here are just some of the responsibilities you will have as our Portfolio Manager, EMEA:
Lead portfolio strategy creation and development in conjunction with the Portfolio & Product Manager and Head of Marketing EMEA.
Be responsible for driving strategic thought-leadership and long-term stewardship of the portfolio and relevant brand partnership Support the implementation of category management training for sales channels
Responsible for portfolio review as part of the annual business planning process.
Propose and manage portfolio deletions in line with long term TWE Strategies
Oversee and communicate recommended deletions for stakeholder feedback.
Maintain & oversee NPD (New Product Development) register master document
Provide updates of NPD pipeline to the PMR monthly for the 24 month horizon
About you
We are looking for someone who has strong commercial acumen with strong experience in either Commercial Sales Roles, Brand Roles, or Category Management.
Ability to influence at all levels
Excellent analytical skills and communication skills
Strategic planning and project management skills
Wine Industry experience would be preferable
