　　Your Responsibilities as a Pipelayer

　　As a Pipelayer at Petticoat-Schmitt, youll need a solid background working with pipes, but also experience in handling the dynamics of a pipe crew

　　Youre the point person and the main lead for the hole.Youll work with the foreman to understand the activities and objectives of the day and communicate the information to the rest of the pipe crew. Youre responsible for keeping things organized and getting everyone to work together.You make sure the pipes are put in correctly.Youre responsible for the knowledge and proper execution of the project. This includes knowing the differences between all the different kinds of pipes we lay, knowing how to shoot grade stick for correct depth for setting pipe elevation, and setting up lasers properly to set the grades.How to Know Youll Be a Great FitThis role isnt for just anyone.
