Accolade is currently recruiting for a Full Time Pharmacy Technician supporting our Outreach area. We're seeking applicants to work in our Plymouth Meeting, PA.
The hours for this position is from 8am to 9pm EST. Applicants will be required to work in the office 5 days a week to start with a hybrid option after 3- 6 months. There is flexibility during the training period with the leaders approval.
Applicants with Claims & Benefits experience from Retail or Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM).
Role overview
The Pharmacy Technician, Clinical Pharmacy Outreach isa trusted advisor who helps members and their families with any issue related to healthcare from getting the right care when they need it to understanding how to get the most from their healthcare benefits. As a Pharmacy Technician, Clinical Pharmacy Outreach you will work an interdisciplinary team, providing members with accurate and timely solutions to a variety of member problems and assist in improving our pharmacy-member touch points. This job requires critical thinking, creative problem solving and the consistent application of discretion and good judgment, as well as a high degree of organization.
A day in the life...
Handle benefits, coverage and claims questions, including understanding the root cause of the issueListen, assess, and comprehend member issues and use judgment and problem solving to take appropriate actionProvide insight and assistance with pharmacy claim disputes when appropriate
Comply with Company and HIPAA guidelines
